ハイラル 中から 特に 優れた 能力を 持つ４ 人を 選び出し 神獣を 操る 任に 就け……
We selected four skilled individuals from across Hyrule and tasked them with the duty of piloting the Divine Beasts.
そして 姫を 長とし 彼 等を 英傑と 名付けて 結束を 固めた
With the princess as their commander, we dubbed these pilots Champions—a name that would solidify their unique bond.
姫と５ 人の 英傑が 揃う 事で 厄災は 封印 出来る 筈だった……
The princess, her appointed knight, and the rest of the Champions were on the brink of sealing away Ganon…

狡猾なガノンは 我らの 想像を 超える 策を 持って 復活したのだ
Ganon was cunning, and he responded with a plan beyond our imagining.
奴はハイラル 城の 地下 深くから 現れた
He appeared from deep below Hyrule Castle.
そしてガーディアンと 四 神獣を 乗っ 取り 襲いかかって 来たのだ
Then he seized control of the Guardians and the Divine Beasts, and turned them against us.
城の 民や 神獣の 英傑 達は 命を 落とし……
Both the champions and the people in the castle lost their lives.
選ばれし 騎士も 姫を 守る 為に 傷つき 倒れてしまった……
The appointed knight, gravely wounded, collapsed while defending the princess…
こうしてハイラル 王国は 厄災ガノンに 壊滅させられたのだ……
And thus, the kingdom of Hyrule was devastated absolutely by Calamity Ganon.

生き残った 姫は 尚も １人でガノンに 立ち向かった
The princess survived to face Ganon alone.
