From about 2 years ago, my Father's forgetfulness became so exceedingly terrible... ...that he wasn't able to distinguish between my brother and I any longer... ...and he was often emotionally unstable.

See, uh, Letta's sick. Somethin'… somethin's not right in her head. Started with her memory, she'd forget things, then… then she stopped recognizin' folk, even me. And now… now she don't even speak.
